Registration for the Fall session of the Outdoor Science Investigations Field Trip Program is now open

The Michigan Tech Center for Science & Environmental Outreach, in partnership with the Copper Country ISD and GOISD, and Western UP MiSTEM Network, is pleased to announce that registration for the Fall session of the Outdoor Science Investigations Field Trip Program is now open.

The Fall field trips will run from Monday, September 9, through Friday, November 22, and are open to all public, private and home schools. Please review the attached Fall Field Trip program flyer for descriptions of each field trip for grades K-8 classes and a list of possible field trip locations. Please use the online registration form to make your field trip reservation: Fall Field Trip Request Form or available from the
Center’s website: https://blogs.mtu.edu/cseo/fall-field-trips. Sample lesson plans may be accessed from the above web address. All lessons align with Michigan Science Standards. Note that all lesson plans are an approximate outline of activities, lessons may be customized to fit the class and field trip location. The presenter will provide all lesson supplies.
