Western U.P. STEM Fair & Festival

Mark your calendars! The Western Upper Peninsula STEM Fair & Festival will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Memorial Union Building (MUB) at Michigan Technological University.

Event Information

The STEM Fair is for Western U.P. students grades 4-8 to submit their science fair project or invention convention michigan (ICM) project for judging.

In addition to traditional science fair project submissions, the science fair will also serve as the Regional Invention Convention Michigan (ICM) competition. Michigan Tech recently became a hub for Invention Convention Michigan (ICM) in the Western U.P.

The STEM Festival portion of the event will have engaging hands-on activities for all students and families, including exhibitor booths from the community.

Information about the STEM Fair 2025 will be available later this year.
